Our season goes fast, but it is anything but slow day to day.
Once July arrives, the pace picks up quickly. When the season starts, our pilots and ground crew is ready to make the most of every hour, from sun up to sun down. From early mornings to the final load of the day, it takes a lot of people working together to keep everything moving.
Spraying acres is only one part of the operation.
Our pilots are supported by ground crews who keep aircraft loaded, fueled, coordinated, and ready for the next run. This year, we brought together team members from 10+ different states, each bringing years of experience and dedication to doing the job as efficiently as possible.
During a season this short, there is no time to waste, and everyone has an imporant role.
Hoppe Airspray is made up of a tight knit team that comes back every year. You'll find husbands and wives, uncles and nephews, longtime family friends, and people who have worked together for years.
A short application season means that efficiency and timing matter most.
Our team prepares before the season starts by training and bringing in new technology to stay ahead. Tools like AgOpti help us coordinate jobs with agronomists and application timing, giving our team everything they need to stay organized and on top of things each day.
Technology is an important addition to what we do, but it still comes down to the pilots, crew members, and managers using it.
There were many early mornings, long days, plenty of time in the air, and many acres covered. Most importantly, there were growers and partners who trusted us to be there when they needed us.
We're proud of what this team accomplished in 2026, and we're grateful for every customer, pilot, ground crew member, customer, argronomist, and partner who helped make the season possible.
