We’re proud to share that Hoppe Airspray was recently featured in AgAir Magazine! The feature highlights our journey under new ownership and our continued commitment to serving farmers and co-ops across Iowa and Minnesota. You can read the full article here.
For Ben Olsem, agriculture aviation wasn’t something he planned from the start. A practice flight with his cousin, a flight instructor, sparked a passion that eventually led him and his wife Megan back to their farming roots.
In 2025, a major milestone arrived with the acquisition of Hoppe Airspray, a well-respected operation with a strong legacy. The company had been built and expanded over the years by dedicated owners, including longtime operator Dan Tonner, whose mentorship and friendship played a key role in Ben’s path to ownership. Ben embraced the challenge, determined to honor the foundation Dan built while continuing to provide the same precision and reliability farmers have come to expect.
Through it all, Ben credits mentors, team members, and the strong relationships within the agriculture aviation community for helping him grow. These connections remain central to how Hoppe Airspray operates. Our slogan, “Built for the field. Backed by family,” reflects our approach to every application, every flight, and every partnership.
